The Criminal Sectionalization is responsible for assisting the courts and attorneys in the consignment of all new criminal suits and other filed pleadings. The Criminal Partition works in conjunction with the Jail Magistrate and preindictment pleadings. The Criminal Division problems warrant numbers and coordinates with jail personnel. Criminal case files are stored within this sectionalisation. The Criminal Division maintains documentation and processing of greenbacks bonds and all ledgers for bail bond forfeitures. Because of the need to provide each of the 13 District Courts with a clerk, it is the largest division in the District Clerk's Part. This makes it necessary to divide the division in two.
